Well, there were two presentations done today. The first one was by Kristen Jackson and Erin Henson. There presentation was about Integrating Technology into the Classroom. Things they presented and talked about were Microsoft Access, a database program; Microsoft Word, a word processing program; PowerPoint, a presentation software; Microsoft Excl, a spreadsheet program; Interactive Websites, which involve visual learning; and Desktop Publisher, which has puzzles and graphic organizers that can be used. The presentation also had links to a tutorial website and www.cellsalive.com.
The second presentation was done by Devarous (Buster) Finney and Taneya Alexander and it was about The Role of Technology in Sports. Their slides included things for Editing Digital Video; using Microsoft Excel for stats; using Projectors; using Websites that show different game plays around the Internet; and using Audio Technology like headphones, ect.
Both groups did a really good job! Talk to you next time!!
